‘Butterfly’ is a midsized upright tree that has amazing variegation. This tree emerges in the early spring with bright pink edges over a swirled white and green leaf. As the summer goes on the pink gradually fades away leaving the green inner leaf with a magnificent white boarder. As new growth comes it is tinged with the bright pink accents. ‘Butterfly’ grows 8-10 feet over time. This tree grows best when late afternoon sun is filtered. With its size and color, ‘Butterfly’ makes an excellent specimen, container plant or accent tree.
