Inaba shidare is a more upright grower than standard dissectums, but still has a cascading form. It has deep purple-red leaves retain their color better than other in the hot summer months. The autumn color is a brilliant crimson red. This Japanese maple is easy to grow, and will adapt to most conditions. It will reach the height of 6 to 10 feet. Inaba shidare can be planted in sunny to partial shady areas.
